As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) or Vice President (VP) in the Investments team, you will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments for the Technology-based Solutions (TBS) pillar. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, execute deals, and manage portfolio companies to drive value creation.

• Investment Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and screen investment opportunities across decarbonisation themes and sectors (e.g., biofuels, circular economy, energy transition). Proactively identify investment themes and thesis-driven opportunities. Build strong industry networks to support origination and deal sourcing. Lead technical analysis (e.g., financial modelling, unit economics analysis, valuation, benchmarking). Conduct in-depth due diligence (industry dynamics, competitive landscape, regulatory environment). Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Deal Execution: Lead or support transaction execution, including structuring, negotiations, documentation, and closing processes. Collaborate with internal teams (policy & analytics, legal & compliance, risks, finance) throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor portfolio company performance and support strategic and operational initiatives. Work with management teams and other shareholders on business plans to drive value creation, including operational improvements, M&A strategies, and strategic repositioning.
• Strategic Initiatives / Ecosystem Management: Contribute to investment strategy, portfolio construction, thematic deep-dives, and thought leadership. Represent the organisation at industry events and foster partnerships with ecosystem stakeholders (startups, VCs, policy groups).

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field; STEM or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
• 4–7 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate development. Climate or sustainability-related experience preferred.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills. Demonstrated interest in climate change, sustainability, and impact investing.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with climate tech or decarbonisation areas; entrepreneurial mindset with bias for action and collaboration. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
