The Technology Group (TG) is a key enabler to keep our business moving forward and uses state-of-the-art information technologies to enhance GIC’s ability to be a leading global long-term investment firm. We provide users with empowering and transformational capabilities and foster an inclusive, innovative, and integrated work environment. The Business Partner & Solutions focus explores new and existing technology to support strategic and operational business needs across Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

What will you do as a Business Analyst?

• Solution Design and Implementation: Collect requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless implementation of features and integrations across custom-built, hybrid, and SaaS platforms. Make platform-level decisions regarding architecture, security, and integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to adhere to technology best practices and business requirements.
• Product Ownership and Lifecycle Management: Act as a key product owner, understanding design principles, roadmap, and feature set of SaaS and custom-built applications. Manage the full product lifecycle, prioritize features, track and review product direction, and measure product performance using appropriate tools.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders. Engage with stakeholders to understand strategic goals and needs, manage expectations, and ensure technology projects deliver value. Facilitate alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
• Technical and Business Competency: Deep dive into products with a holistic understanding of technical and business aspects. Leverage SaaS capabilities to guide phased adoption of new features, focusing on user enablement and process optimization.
• Change Management and Adoption: Drive change management efforts to ensure effective adoption of technology changes. Establish feedback mechanisms to gather insights on performance and stakeholder satisfaction for iterative improvements.
• Strategic Planning and Budget Management: Support strategic planning and budgeting, monitoring expenditures to promote financial discipline and accountability.
• Market Research and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, conduct market research on emerging technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to tech processes. Create a continuous improvement plan for platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to ensure alignment, support, and delivery of technology initiatives; facilitate knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.

What makes you a successful candidate?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT project management, software development, business analysis, or product management.
• Proven experience in managing all aspects of a successful product or platform throughout its lifecycle.
• Proven ability to assess and implement complex platform architectures, balancing technical constraints and business objectives.
• Familiarity with IT governance, security requirements, and best practices for managing enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated knowledge in application management, driving operational excellence, incident management, capacity planning, cost management, licensing, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in project, stakeholder, and vendor management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to translate complex technical issues into actionable steps aligned with business needs.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate across cross-functional teams with clear documentation.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools, and with product management principles, including owning a product, understanding outcomes, using data to drive actions, and gathering user insights.
• Broad experience with cloud-based SaaS systems and internal custom-built systems is preferred.
