Responsibilities Primary responsibility is the preparation of Group consolidation and Group reporting on a monthly basis for management reporting and for statutory reporting to comply with accounting standards and regulations Manage the annual audit process and ensure timely preparation of the full set of the Group financial statements for statutory compliance Ensure the accounting policies and accounting treatments are aligned across the Group and review accounts mapping for consistency Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions to eliminate any discrepancies Consolidate, review and present annual budgets and monthly forecasts Provide Group financial information and metrics to internal and external stakeholders where required Liaise with overseas subsidiaries/affiliated companies and their agents to facilitate the preparation of monthly management reports, and for their reporting to the group auditor in Singapore during the annual audit to ensure statutory compliance Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the consolidation process and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting Other ad-hoc duties where applicable Annual Property Valuation Coordinate with the external property valuers and provide the requisite information, review and validate the valuation assumptions with the asset teams, and finalise the valuation reports on time Other ad-hoc duties where applicable Subsidiary Companies Oversee the preparation of monthly and statutory reporting, and ensure tax compliance of assigned local and overseas subsidiary companies Other ad-hoc duties where applicable Key Requirements Degree in Accountancy At least 8 years of relevant experience in the real estate industry or a Big 4 accounting firm Prior experience in group reporting and consolidation is necessary Proficient in financial consolidation software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software Meticulous and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and consolidation, and able to work effectively under deadlines Able to adapt to changes in accounting standards and industry practices Keen to engage in continuous learning to stay updated on relevant financial and accounting developments Highly reliable, independent, possess high integrity and a strong team player Vision and Culture At Pontiac Land, our Human Capital Vision is: Each individual valued, respected and contributing.
