Social Media and Content Designer (6 Months Contract) The Social Media & Content Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and adapting creative assets for social media and digital campaigns in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in creating engaging content for social platforms and digital marketing mediums, and be able to deliver multiple projects simultaneously. The role will require a mix of creativity and adaptability, as well as the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES Design and adapt a wide range of digital assets including static and motion content for social media, eDMs, banners, websites, and campaign microsites Create thumb-stopping content optimized for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) Animate content for social media (GIFs, reels, short-form videos, HTML5 banners, etc.) Ensure all assets meet brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and media specifications Stay up to date with social media trends and translate them into fresh, creative executions Collaborate closely with copywriters, producers, and account teams to bring ideas to life Contribute ideas in brainstorms and creative discussions Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality output Uphold best practices for file organization, version control, and delivery Continuously explore new content formats, tools, and production techniques to elevate creative work REQUIRED COMPETENCIES 3+ years of experience in social media/content design or digital design Strong portfolio showcasing social-first content (static, motion, and video) Experience designing for multiple social platforms and web campaigns Motion/animation skills (GIFs, reels, short-form video editing) highly preferred Knowledge of UX/UI principles (a plus, but not core requirement) Familiarity with social media management tools and specs (e.g., Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn ads) Strong visual storytelling and layout skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving Positive and adaptable mindset with eagerness to experiment with new formats NOTE: this job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
