About ProBio

ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio's total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. In terms of viral vector service, \ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing a wide range of technical and analytical tasks in our state-of-the-art laboratory
  • Perform experiments, data analysis and documentation of the results
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Documenting procedures, protocols, and findings in a detailed and organised manner
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior lab technicians as required
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures

Gene Production

  • Perform experiments related to Oligonucleotide Synthesis, PCR, Electrophoresis
  • Perform experiments related to vector linearization, ligation, transformation and cell culture.
  • Perform experiments related to Screening, inoculation, cell lysis and chromatography.

Sequencing and Quality Control

  • Perform Sanger Sequencing using Genetic Analyzer such as 3730xl DNA analyzer
  • Perform release testing and analyse results

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficient in the use of various laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate and precise work
  • Preference to have experience in one of the following: oligonucleotide synthesis, PCR, and Sanger sequencing
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as life sciences, chemistry, or biotechnology
