Responsibilities:
- Conduct general radiographic examinations and at least one specialty area such as mammography, ultrasound, or bone mineral densitometry.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe diagnostic environment, adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Operate and care for diagnostic equipment responsibly.
- Apply ALARA principles in all imaging procedures.
- Support quality control procedures under supervision of senior radiographers.
- Ensure smooth operations and service delivery in assigned diagnostic centres.
- Maintain general housekeeping standards.
- Achieve AHPC certification within one to two years, depending on qualifications.
Requirements:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognised institution.
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council.
- Possess R1 license with Centre for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Sciences, NEA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Service-oriented with a compassionate and professional attitude.
- Effective team player with good interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Experience in mammography and ultrasound is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with NGEMR, Epic, and RISPACS systems is an added advantage.
