Perform general radiography/sonography to produce high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform common X-ray examinations (non-contrast, non-interventional) using appropriate techniques to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality.
  • Perform common ultrasound examinations including those focused on the thyroid, breast, adhering to established protocols.
  • Handle RIS-PACS system efficiently to document patient information, retrieve prior examinations, and store acquired images.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and achieving optimal image quality.
  • Knowledge of other modalities (mammography, BMD etc.) is a strong advantage.
  • Assist with patient positioning and ensure their comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Effectively communicate with patients and explain procedures in a clear and reassuring manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Diploma or Degree in Radiography/Sonography with a minimum of 4 years of work experience.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Patient-centric approach with excellent communication skills.
  • S Pass application is welcome.
