Overview

Tencent is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Program Expert to join our team to support the delivery of product compliance programs, including ISO, SOC, PCI, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee compliance programs: Manage and enhance the entire lifecycle of compliance programs, including ISO, SOC, PCI, etc., ensuring continuous improvement across the control environment.
  • Lead audit management: Manage third-party audits, resolve findings, and ensure the organization maintains 'audit-ready' status with robust, well-documented controls.
  • Bridge technical compliance: Develop deep security expertise and translate complex technical controls into clear compliance implications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance documentation: Establish and manage comprehensive documentation frameworks to ensure controls are consistently documented, validated, and prepared for scrutiny.
  • Drive strategic compliance evolution: Adapt compliance frameworks to evolving standards and regulations, optimize processes, develop best practices, and communicate results/guidance to senior leadership and teams.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate 3+ years of core compliance experience: Proven track record in security/compliance consulting/advisory within highly technical environments, including performing technical assessments for major frameworks (e.g., ISO, PCI, SOC 2).
  • Possess technical cloud & audit expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS core services—EC2, S3, KMS—or equivalent), deployment models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), and auditing cloud environments or working directly with auditors.
  • Show ability to bridge compliance and engineering: Experience engaging with technology product/service teams and engineering to define technical requirements and guide them through development and release cycles.
  • Have foundational program/project skills: Experience in IT program/project management, IT auditing, and/or control framework development and implementation.
  • Business fluency in English (written/spoken) is mandatory. Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.
