Overview

Our client, an innovative joint venture between a leading AI virtual companion company with 1 million monthly active users (MAU) and a decentralized GPU infrastructure company with $155 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Their mission is to combine cutting-edge AI and decentralized technology to revolutionize consumer-facing (B2C) applications in the tech/payments industry. They’re seeking a dynamic and experienced CEO/Co-Founder to lead the company into its next phase of success.

Position

CEO/Co-Founder

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a clear vision and strategy to drive company growth and achieve business objectives in the B2C tech/payments space, leveraging AI and decentralized infrastructure.
  • Fundraising & Investor Relations: Lead fundraising efforts, including pitching to investors, securing venture capital, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Team Building & Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture across both AI and decentralized tech expertise.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, market opportunities, and customer acquisition strategies to scale the business.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and efficient execution of business plans.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the public face of the company, representing the brand professionally in industry events, media, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Financial Management: Work with the team to manage budgets, financial planning, and ensure sustainable growth.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading growth in B2C applications, with a proven track record of scaling consumer-focused products or services.
  • Prior experience in the tech/payments industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in a C-level or corporate leadership role.
  • Strong experience in fundraising, including securing venture capital, angel investments, or other funding sources.
  • Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Ability to represent the company with professionalism and confidence in high-stakes environments, including investor meetings and industry events.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to define and execute long-term strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs in AI and decentralized tech.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the company’s vision to diverse audiences.
  • Passionate, adaptable, and comfortable taking calculated risks to drive innovation and growth.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a founder or co-founder of a tech startup.
  • Deep understanding of the payments industry, AI technologies, or decentralized infrastructure.
  • Established network of industry contacts, investors, or advisors in the tech/payments or AI/decentralized tech space.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
