The role

You will have a front row seat in impacting women across the globe through our design. You will be responsible for leading our design team in the creative direction, development and execution of our monthly trend line and collaboration projects. You will have an opportunity to disrupt the consumer and retail industry and elevate Love, Bonito from a top Singaporean brand to a global women\'s fashion empire.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the Love, Bonito aesthetic and translate it into commercial, relevant products
  • Lead research and develop inspirational mood boards that help convey each collection\'s vision
  • Ensure products align with market trends, Love, Bonito\'s design principles (fit, value, thoughtfulness & freshness) and Merchandising\'s assortment plan
  • Source fabrics, print bases and trims to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Developers, Pattern Makers & Seamstresses to ensure successful execution of design intent
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Creative to convey and amplify project direction
  • Offer color recommendations and guide the assortment color picking process
  • Complete and update design attributes from product creation to ordering
  • Adjust designs based on feedback from weekly reports and insights team
  • Meet with fabric and clothing vendors to support product lines
  • Maintain strong relationships with current suppliers
  • Work with Merchandising on adaptations
  • Provide design aesthetic guidance to junior team members
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant design experience with an international fashion brand
  • Proven experience in fashion and print design
  • Diploma/Bachelors in Fashion Design or related field
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin for communication with team and suppliers
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to travel for work
