Singtel is seeking an Innovation Design Lead to spearhead the exploration and implementation of cutting-edge design technologies and methodologies. The Innovation Design Lead works at the intersection of design, technology, and business strategy to create forward-thinking solutions that push the boundaries of traditional design . From static imagery to motion graphics, the Innovation Design Lead is able to transform ordinary briefs into extraordinary experiences through creative execution and strategic campaign planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external teams.
Make an Impact by

• Team Leadership - Manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
• Project Oversight - Oversee all stages of design projects from conception to execution, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met.
• Campaign Planning - Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute creative campaigns. Ensure all visual content supports the overarching campaign strategy and business goals. Work closely with Creative Lead, marketing teams, peers, and other key stakeholders to brainstorm and develop content ideas. Provide clear, concise direction and feedback to internal and external parties involved in content production.
• Strong Copywriting - Able to complement visual content with creative, clear and concise writing.
• AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to streamline design processes, enhance creativity, and improve decision-making. This includes generative design techniques to explore new concepts and optimize existing designs.
• Stakeholder Communication - Able to collaborate across functions, present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
• Innovation & Trend Monitoring - Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in visual media. Continuously seek innovative ways to improve content quality and effectiveness, especially in an AI powered world.
• Strategic Design Leadership - Define the overall design strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the company’s vision and leverages AI capabilities to enhance product offerings.
  

Skills For Success

• Min Diploma holder
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in design roles, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership position at an in-house Creative team or advertising agency. Experience with AI-driven design processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
• Able to drive multiple projects from start to finish.
• An expert in design workflows with the ability to execute static ideas into moving visuals flawlessly. Doesn’t hesitate to get into the details, and does not lose sight of the broader strategic intent.
• Strategic thinker; always curious and creatively-minded in every way.
• Able to give and receive feedback positively without taking it too personally. See the value of different perspectives.
• Willing to work occasionally on weekends & public holidays, if required.
• Strong copywriting and presentation skills and be fluent in English.
• A leader and a good team player; able to work well independently or with a team while under pressure.
