GEC Service Director Environmental Services

As a key role within the Global Excellence Centre at Arcadis, you will be responsible for supporting the global Services strategy and excellence. Your main purpose will be to drive excellence in GEC service delivery within the service area, position GEC as a centre of excellence in the global business, and support the implementation of the global S&A strategy. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that capability excellence enhances service delivery quality, focuses on sustainability, and ensures the organization and reusability of data.Reporting directly to the GEC Business Area Director / GEC Director, with a dotted reporting line to the GBA Service Director, you will be working full time. Your role will involve various accountabilities including but not limited to:- Standardization & Automation of Service Delivery: Develop and implement standardized ways of working, agree on standard roles for GEC, provide assurance of standards compliance, and identify automated solutions to improve efficiency.- Quality / Service Excellence: Support the migration of activities to GEC, develop service delivery plans, drive the discipline into optimized ways of working, and ensure high standards of service quality.- Capability Development: Contribute to long-term skill requirements, build competence in line with future needs, and promote knowledge sharing through various channels.- Connected Data: Develop strategies for data selection, storage, and reuse in service delivery, and actively participate in relevant global communities regarding data.- Sustainability: Drive sustainability in service delivery through sharing best practices and identifying opportunities for sustainability integration.- Organization: Establish a network of SMEs, participate in relevant global service communities, and contribute to improved GEC contribution.- Growth: Contribute to tenders and global accounts, develop global value propositions, act as an advocate for GEC, and partner with Discipline Director to develop growth plans.- GEC Contribution: Influence standard work splits between BA and GEC to set contribution targets.You should have significant professional experience in the service, excellent influencing and collaboration skills, a strategic mindset, coaching abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
