Our client is a large established financial services holding group with a sizeable deposit base and growing lending book through its holdings and operations across the region. They hold controlling and strategic stakes in banks, microfinanciers, insurers, fintechs, with a focus on digitizing products and services to enable swifter market access to populations resident in Southeast Asia.

This is a senior management role at the regional centre, responsible for building a reliable Regional Treasury with a strong focus on risk compliance and prudential capital and liquidity management while capitalising on the Group's advanced technologies and analytics to develop and maintain a comprehensive Treasury framework that will cater to multiple event-driven scenarios and satisfy all regulatory and internal liquidity requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a Regional Treasury function with emphasis on risk compliance and prudential capital and liquidity management.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Treasury framework that supports multiple event-driven scenarios and regulatory/internal liquidity requirements.
  • Leverage advanced technologies and analytics to optimise treasury operations and decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years in Treasury as a Head of ALM or Head of Trading.
  • Proven track record in driving year-on-year profits.
  • Excellent risk management experience and strong adherence to central bank regulations.
  • Bilingual in English; Mandarin is a must.
