About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Director to lead the end-to-end implementation and transformation initiatives of SAP solutions within the aviation industry . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP program management, combined with a strong understanding of aviation operations, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation trends in the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct SAP implementation and transformation programs , ensuring alignment with business strategy, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle — from planning and design through execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Act as the strategic liaison between business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams to ensure project success.
  • Manage project governance, risk, compliance , and performance metrics.
  • Ensure effective change management and user adoption strategies tailored to the aviation industry.
  • Monitor integration of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP EAM, SAP MM, SAP FICO) with aviation-specific systems such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and fleet management.
  • Collaborate with global teams and vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery across geographically distributed environments.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or in any related field.
  • 15+ years of overall experience, including 10+ years in SAP program/project management .
  • Proven experience delivering SAP solutions in the aviation industry , such as airports, airlines, MRO, or aerospace.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules relevant to aviation (e.g., SAP EAM , SAP S/4HANA , SAP Logistics , Finance ).
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of aviation regulatory and operational environments .
  • Experience working with system integrators, SAP partners, and cross-functional teams.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA).
  • Familiarity with digital technologies in aviation (IoT for aircraft, predictive maintenance, mobility solutions).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS) and hybrid SAP environments.
