Overview

Senior Value Consultant – APJ to join our Value Engineering Team at Infoblox. The role reports to the global Director of Value Engineering and acts as a trusted advisor guiding prospects and customers through defining, projecting, and realizing the value of Infoblox networking and security solutions. You will align technology with customers’ business challenges and strategic goals and contribute to a culture of growth, excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

Be Prepared — What You Bring
  • Experience in a Value Consulting / Value Engineering role with a B2B Enterprise SaaS company; experience in networking, security, or cloud computing is a plus.
  • Experience with tools used to model and communicate value to prospects and customers (DecisionLink / ValueCloud is a plus).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce.com or other enterprise sales tools.
  • Technical proficiency in networking, security, and cloud technologies; ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language and demonstrate financial benefits.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to tangible outcomes and quantified value.
  • Consultative problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; proven ability to build rapport and guide clients toward optimal solutions.
  • Sales-savvy experience in a sales, customer success, consulting, or other customer-facing role; comfortable engaging with multiple roles on a buying team (Coach; Champion; Influencer; Economic Buyer) at various levels (C-Level to Manager) and with supporting business functions.
  • Experience with at least one common sales methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC).
  • Passion for continuous learning in IT (Networking, Security, Cloud) and professional development.

  • Document current-state analysis of product cost/value.
  • Provide quick-win recommendations with business cases.
  • Establish credibility with stakeholders by delivering initial cost savings or process improvements.

One Year:

  • Fully implement VE initiatives.
  • Deeper cross-functional engagement.
  • Roadmap of longer-term VE opportunities in place.
