Vice President

Job Overview

The Vice President – Project Fulfilment will play a critical role in supporting the COO in overseeing the execution and delivery of projects across Mlion Corporation. This position will work closely with the Logistics , Procurement , Contracts and Design teams, which are based in Singapore, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and adhere to the company’s quality standards. The VP will also be responsible for building and expanding the teams as required. Regular collaboration with the China-based manufacturing team and the General Manager (GM) will be essential, as well as business travel to oversee operations and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Job Description

Project Management:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end project fulfilment processes from design, planning, sourcing, production, to delivery, ensuring all timelines are adhered to and that projects meet required specifications and quality standards

Collaboration with COO:

• Assist the COO in strategic planning and execution of business objectives related to project fulfilment and resource optimization to meet business goals

Team Leadership and Development:

• Work closely with the Logistics , Procurement , Contracts and Design teams which are mostly based in Singapore, to optimize supply chain, procurement, and contract negotiation processes
• Take responsibility for hiring, developing, and expanding the teams to meet demands of the organization
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team success and alignment with corporate goals

Factory Coordination

• Collaborate with the China-based factory team and the GM to ensure timely, cost-effective production and delivery of goods
• Monitor manufacturing processes, resolve operational challenges, and drive process improvements for increased efficiency

Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Oversee procurement activities to ensure optimal sourcing of materials, equipment, and services
• Manage key supplier relationships and negotiations to secure favourable terms in line with company policies and budget requirements
• Address challenges and urgent issues with suppliers and stakeholders. Strategizing on problem solving to advance the organization’s position

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Identify and mitigate risks related to project delays, resource constraints, and other operational challenges
• Highlight identified issues and challenges to relevant teams. Strategize and oversee on the necessary steps to be taken to eliminate or minimize impact on organization and customers
• Ensure compliance with international and local regulations, including contractual, logistical, and procurement standards

Business Travel:

• Regular travel to China and other locations to oversee factory operations, meet with suppliers, and ensure the smooth execution of projects

Continuous Improvement:

• Recommend and implement strategies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive cost savings across project fulfilment operations

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project fulfilment, logistics, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry
• Experience in leading and building teams, with a proven track record of managing projects and coordination with international teams.
• Prior experience in working with teams based in different geographical locations is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in contract management, logistics coordination, and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to handle complex projects and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Experience with ERP systems and other supply chain software.

• 5 days work week, 9am-5pm
• AWS upon confirmation and pro-rated if service is less than a year
• Performance Bonus subjected to individual and company’s performance
