Our client is the leader within the industry and is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Facilities Management to lead the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-performing facilities across their operations. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong operational oversight, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive excellence in both day-to-day facilities management and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall facilities management strategy across multiple sites.
  • Lead a lean team to manage a team of facilities professionals, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring facilities meet all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and performance to ensure value and quality delivery.
  • Implement sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives to reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
  • Drive capital projects including refurbishments, fit-outs, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades, from planning to completion.
  • Monitor and optimize budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising service standards.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure facilities strategy aligns with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a senior facilities management role, ideally within a multi-site environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of facilities operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fire Safety certificate.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and external vendors.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Commitment to sustainability and innovation in facilities management.
