Overview Charterhouse are supporting a global financial services organization in their search for a new HR Director / Business Partner reporting directly to the Head of HR. This role will be the “right hand person” to the Head of HR in a highly visible and influential position and will ideally come from the Banking / Financial Services industries. Responsibilities Alongside the Head of HR, lead the Singapore business to deliver the highest quality HR service, working closely with key stakeholders and making improvements and managing change where needed. Oversee operational HR including updating and ensuring that all policies and procedures are aligned with local labour laws and legislations and oversee day-to-day HR operations. Lead Talent Management and Development. Create a robust and effective succession plan, including the High Potential program and coaching and mentoring leaders in performance management. Represent HR in wider business planning and advise on organizational capability, considering the HR implications in alignment with business goals. Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding/offboarding, revising compensation & benefits, talent management, HR operations, employee relations, etc. Lead employee relations and manage grievances through to resolution in alignment with company guidelines with a view to improving engagement and retention. Ensure that the HR function is compliant with all policies and procedures as per Financial Security requirements, including the prevention of Financial Crime, Fraud and Money Laundering. Attributes Relevant HR or Business Degree and at least 10 years of HR experience in a relevant industry. Strong business acumen and business partnering exposure with excellent teamwork and the ability to build strong internal relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
