FareHawker is an Indian travel site providing a range of free services to assist users in planning their upcoming travels. As a company, we do not function as a travel agency, airline, or booking portal, nor do we sell flight tickets. Our primary function is to scour the internet for fares, much like you would when searching for your next flight. The distinction lies in our algorithms, which simultaneously search over 300 sites to offer you a comprehensive overview within seconds.We are currently looking for young graduates interested in pursuing a career in Social Media Marketing within the E-Aviation, E-Travel & E-Tourism sector. This role is unconventional and entails extensive interaction with members across various social media platforms. Candidates should be prepared to engage with the online community on a personal level to enhance our digital presence.**Responsibilities:**- Engage in daily interactions with members.- Act as a liaison between the travel search engine users and our marketing team.- Manage multiple Social Media platforms and provide daily updates.- Develop and manage Facebook Apps.- Conceptualize and execute contests to promote the brand or company.- Design promotional banners.- Interact with farehawker.com users on Forums and Groups.- Generate excitement around specific activities within tight timelines.**Requirements:**- Proficiency in Facebook: An active account and page are advantageous.- Active Twitter presence with an understanding of trends and tweets.- Familiarity and interest in various social media channels like Google+, Friendster, Tumblr, ibiboMySpace, etc.- Basic knowledge of Movie Making tools such as Windows Movie Maker, Pinnacle Studio.- Experience with basic HTML/FBML.- Strong writing skills with prior experience in Blogs/Articles.- Proficiency in CorelDraw/Photoshop.- Interest and knowledge in online travel portals, airlines, fares, online bookings, and hotels.- Ambitious and willing to explore the world of travel and accommodation.- Enthusiastic about learning new concepts.**Note:** While we welcome freshers for our Internship program, a strong passion for innovation is crucial in the ever-evolving landscape of Social Media.
