Joining Collibra’s Customer Engineering team, we’re shaping the way some of the largest organizations in the world manage data by helping customers connect the right data and insights for all Data Citizens. As a Customer Engineer, you will be the guiding force behind bringing Collibra's product and vision to customers and prospects. Responsibilities Map solutions to value across large and dynamic customers, bridging both business and technical requirements. Participate in discovery and drive qualification of new opportunities, and expand customers. Prepare and conduct product demonstrations highlighting how Collibra’s Platform can support our Enterprise customers’ needs. Advise and support customers’ technical stakeholders to accelerate Collibra adoption and value realization, serving as the primary point of contact for technical and product‑related queries. Identify, evaluate, recommend, and execute value‑based workshops and proofs of concept/values. Prepare and provide input for functional and technical sections of RFPs/RFQs. Support sales and marketing activities, webcasts, field enablement, and asset creation. Provide advice and feedback to product management and engineering to enhance our offerings. Qualifications +5 years in a Sales, Customer Engineering, or Sales Consulting role. Experience in Enterprise land‑and‑expand motions. Broad knowledge of data governance, data catalog, data quality, and data privacy platforms, including value‑based selling, cost‑benefit analysis, ROI analysis, process and project management. Experience as a Data Management practitioner in cataloging, integration, data quality, and enterprise architecture, having set up or participated in governance boards. Experience with leading PaaS providers, Data Lakes, Databases, and integration platforms; the data space is required. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidate Profile Effective communicator. Sales‑ and customer‑focused self‑starter with enthusiasm, flexibility, and motivation. Trusted advisor for C‑level executives and C‑1 level executives. Proven collaborator and liaison with all levels and departments within an organization and success in a partner‑heavy environment. Confident in dispensing knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience. Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the region. Excited for continuous learning and development, with an aptitude for grasping technical concepts. Willing to travel up to 30% within the region. Measures of Success Within your first month, become familiar with Collibra and understand our customer landscape. Within your second month, confidently conduct discovery with customers and prospects, conduct initial product demonstrations, and present solutions aligned to customer value. Within your third month, become a voice for Collibra within your accounts and for your accounts back within Collibra, educating external and internal stakeholders on features, roadmap, and new use cases.
