Overview

Be among the first 25 applicants for a role in the Business Operations department, working with one of our portfolio companies in the fintech sector. The company is a payment service provider operating across Southeast Asia, processing >US$500m monthly across 10+ currencies by partnering with local payment gateways to offer a one-stop solution for international businesses. We’re looking for individuals who are driven to create meaningful value, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Legal & Compliance team to facilitate revision, review, contract negotiation, signing, and filing related work.
  • Coordinate with the Business/GTM team to follow up with new account applicants.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the platform operated by Confidential for its clients.
  • Set up and manage monitoring tools to track system health, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to define functional specifications for new platform features and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Lead projects for Business Operations to automate manual processes and drive platform enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to follow up with new merchant accounts and local payment institutions.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses (using internal data and external sources) to identify growth opportunities and key value drivers.
  • Update or draft new process documents and standard operating manuals to document end-to-end processes.
  • Ensure daily processes are completed accurately and timely per defined SLAs.
  • Manage key initiatives on a project basis, working with cross-functional teams in Southeast Asia and other international markets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related finance discipline (a plus).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in related field; operational experience in a payment service provider is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude, with experience in Excel modeling and strategic thinking.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to handle multiple processes across topics, functions, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and structure complex issues.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in a high-growth environment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
