The Department and position

The department is responsible for the development and maintenance of Capital Market applications used by worldwide users.
"Run the bank" is the first mission of the IT department. It involves many frontline IT professionals who understand the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. They are continuously working with business users, infrastructure engineers, and system managers.
The role will focus primarily on the build and delivery of in-house component platforms in line with major global projects with a high-value budget. You will lead and engage 10 to 15 team members composed of business analysts, technical leads, software developers, and application support.

Main responsibilities

You will ensure the role of Delivery Leader in Singapore, leading a team in charge of Post Trade Credit IT systems for the filiere Bonds or RSF, directly reporting to the head of section Post Trade.
The Delivery Leader is responsible for the IT delivery of their team. They ensure the proper functioning of the team, promote continuous improvement, cooperation, and autonomy, and are in charge of removing obstacles from the team roadmap.
In line with this, you will be fully accountable for your team's deliveries on schedule, in conformance to the bank's policies and standards, and within agreed levels of quality.
You will ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage expected project outcomes in line with program outcomes.
As part of an integrated organization across three main sites (Paris, SQY, Singapore), you will forge close relationships with the program director, other team leads, architecture functions, and quality assurance teams. There will be a limited travel aspect to this role (approx. 25%).
A strong maturity in project management is required, as you will be part of the project committee, reporting progress highlights with key performance indicators, evaluating risk assessments, proposing mitigations, and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Main duties details
Oversee and support the team in achieving its objectives on both development delivery of software systems and its production stability within the organization unit.
• Remove all blocking issues going beyond the team's authority or requiring support from other teams.
• Inspire the team on new practices and quality standards, in strong partnership with the Technical Leader.
• Be accountable for the production stability of your scope.
• Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.
• Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
