Overview Laboratory Technologist (Comparative Medicine) at National University of Singapore. Duties performing daily care of animals, including related duties required for the proper care, feeding and housing of laboratory animals performing daily animal checking and identifying clinical and behavioural abnormality, to report to veterinary staff performing daily checking of the facility or equipment, to identify and report issue to supervisor performing routine cage changing and sanitation performing general laboratory animal housekeeping and cleaning duties stocking supplies records keeping operating equipment including cage and rack washers and autoclaves receiving animal shipment Qualifications Diploma in Biotechnology or equivalent discipline preferred or minimum of GCE ‘O’, ‘N’ levels or Nitec Good disposition and not averse in handling of laboratory animals Ability to multi-task Good communication skills Attention to detail Able to work independently and in team settings Basic knowledge of MS outlook and ability to become familiar with additional computing software Lift up to 15 to 25kg Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to push equipment or cart weighing of 50 to 100kg Ability to perform rotating weekend duties and after office hours duties independently Process a valid class 3 driving license will be an added advantage More Information Location: Kent Ridge Campus Organization: Comparative Medicine Department: Operations Employee Referral Eligible Job requisition ID: 29614 #J-18808-Ljbffr
