(LTA-RSE) SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER (TEST & AUTOMATION)

Role at Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore. The Senior Manager / Manager, Test & Automation will plan and manage end-to-end testing of a large-scale integrated e-payment system, identify test scope for each project, report on testing progress and risks with mitigations, and drive test process improvements and automation for efficiency and coverage.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage end-to-end testing activities for a large-scale integrated e-payment system.
  • Identify test scope for each project initiative and report testing progress, risks, and mitigations.
  • Identify and implement test process improvements and automate them to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • Leverage experience in IT, engineering, system design and development, IT project management, or QA/testing to ensure quality outcomes in project deliveries.
  • Learn about the various ticketing systems deployed at Singapore’s public transport and contribute to smooth rollout of new systems and enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Background knowledge in Information Technology or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience managing a team in system design, testing, software development, or related IT fields (IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.).
  • Strong technology savviness with attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication, planning, and people skills; able to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Experience in designing or creating test automation solutions for systems (browser-based or embedded) using C, C++, J2EE, .NET or Selenium/Robot frameworks is a plus.
