General Medical & Surgical (Healthcare & Medical)Job Type: Full-Time We are looking for a dedicated Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our surgical team as a Nurse Clinician. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care during orthopaedic procedures, working closely with surgeons and the perioperative team. As a Nurse Clinician, you’ll coordinate and evaluate patient care to ensure safe, efficient, and effective treatment. This role requires strong clinical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to nursing excellence. Job Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and in optimal condition. Assist the surgical team by anticipating the needs of the surgeon and providing appropriate instruments and materials during procedures. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Monitor and account for all surgical instruments and materials used during the procedure, ensuring accurate counts. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes. Support patients pre- and post-operatively, offering reassurance and professional care. Keep up to date with best practices, guidelines, and advancements in orthopaedic surgery and surgical nursing. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Job Requirements/Details: Registered Nurse (RN) or EN qualification with a validSingapore nursing license. Scrub experience in orthopaedic surgery or a willingness to undertake specialist training. Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and theatre protocols. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive surgical experience.
