Overview

You will be responsible for providing personalized, specialised, and cost-effective care to patients in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing care and practices.

Job Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients’ needs upon admission and throughout their hospital stay
  • Plan and implement care based on assessed needs
  • Evaluate and monitor patients’ progress according to care plans
  • Document care provided and monitor outcomes using established charts and forms
  • Deliver safe and competent nursing care
  • Participate actively in physicians’ rounds
  • Carry out treatments and investigations as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers for smooth patient care
  • Communicate patient progress and responses to treatment with the healthcare team
  • Provide patients and families with information on disease prevention, health education, and rehabilitation
  • Ensure continuity of care through follow-ups
  • Display compassion and a positive, caring attitude towards patients
  • Use and care for equipment properly
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide nursing students, new staff, and junior staff
  • Participate in clinical and service quality activities
  • Stay updated with current nursing practices
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Nursing Management
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)
  • At least 2 years of experience in an acute setting
  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from recognized institutions approved by SNB
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate, positive, and caring nature
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge
  • Willing to work on 3 rotating shifts
  • Entry-level applicants are welcome
