The client is a fast-growing, compliance-driven digital platform company exploring Web3 technologies and building an instant messaging (IM) platform that integrates social networking, commerce, and future blockchain-enabled services (subject to regulatory approval).

Their mission is to create meaningful, trusted communities where users can connect, transact, and collaborate seamlessly.

As they scale globally, they are seeking a Content Strategy Manager to lead their content direction, elevate their brand narrative and drive engagement across multiple channels and markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the content strategy across IM, social media, blogs, community channels, and campaigns.
  • Shape narratives that communicate the platform’s vision in Web3, instant messaging, and digital communities.
  • Collaborate with product, growth, and leadership teams to ensure content aligns with business and user goals.
Content Development & Management
  • Oversee editorial calendars and workflows to maintain consistency across English and Chinese content.
  • Drive global campaigns, product launches, and community initiatives through impactful storytelling.
  • Manage and mentor content contributors, ensuring editorial quality and cultural relevance.
Community Engagement & Storytelling
  • Craft content that resonates with Web3 communities and IM users, simplifying complex ideas into relatable narratives.
  • Develop thought-leadership pieces and product explainers that highlight the platform’s role in shaping digital communities.
  • Use data and insights to refine messaging, optimize campaigns, and drive measurable engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in content strategy, editorial management, or digital marketing (experience in IM, Web3, fintech, or digital platforms preferred).
  • Strong record in shaping narratives for global B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams or content contributors.
  • Professional / Native proficiency in Chinese (Written & Spoken) and English is required.
  • Skilled in SEO, content analytics, and growth marketing best practices.
  • Passion for Web3, instant messaging platforms, and building digital-first communities.
