Job Responsibilities
  • Develop new products according to development requests and improve existing products.
  • Develop application recipes to optimize product design for new and existing products.
  • Monitor new trends and products in the market.
  • Evaluate new ingredient submissions.
  • Conduct food tasting and sensory evaluations.
  • Maintain proper documentation to support costing, lab-scale formulation of new and existing products, and any supporting documents.
  • Work closely with inter-departments on the development and launch of new or improved recipes.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirements

  • Recognized culinary qualification or similar discipline.
  • At least 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in the restaurant, hotel business, or food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in different Asian cuisines, bakery, and Dim Sum would be beneficial for daily R&D work.
  • Creative in food preparation and presentation.
  • Meticulous with good organizational skills.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) as daily liaison with Mandarin and English speaking associates is required.
