Senior Resource Manager

Overview The Senior Resource Manager for the JAPAC region leads Technical Services Resource Management, Capacity Planning, and Vendor Management. You will transform the Resource Management Office into a proactive, business-enabling function through process, data, and reporting improvements. In this role, you will collaborate with Technical Services Business Leaders, RMO, Operations, and Contingent Workforce Teams to ensure Technical Services has the resources and capacity to meet current and future demand. Responsibilities Capacity Planning & Forecasting - Own the resourcing model, aligned to pipeline and bookings; partner with Services Sales and PMO to optimize the allocation and utilization of resources. Stakeholder Interlock - Collaborate with Technical Services Leaders, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to align on business model, resource management strategies, address resource-related issues, and facilitate effective communication. Resource Optimization - Develop and implement solutions focused on planning, forecasting resource needs, and monitoring resource utilization to ensure the accuracy of resource availability. Vendor Management - Manage JAPAC Technical Services Vendors by establishing governance structures to track vendor performance; leverage vendors to address both short and long term capacity gaps via existing or new vendors; manage the onboarding process of new suppliers. RMO Governance - Provide stakeholders with analytics and business insights that support leaders in making quick business decisions; analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to accelerate revenue and maximize margin. Skills Inventory Management - Ensure skills are maintained and updated in the PSA tool on a quarterly basis as this is critical for staffing of domain expertise on high-complexity projects. Process Improvements - Continuously assess and provide recommendations for improvement to resource management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications PS Resource Management experience in a High Tech Software company Strong understanding of resource management principles and best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills Proficiency in resource management software and tools Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strategic thinking and business acumen RMCP Certification a Plus Additional Information The Team: The Senior Resource Manager will be a member of the Resource Management Operations Team within the Technical Services Operations.
