Job Location

As a Data Engineer within the Risk team, you will work with cutting-edge technologies to manage and process large-scale data, focusing on the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of robust data pipelines, data governance, scalable data architectures, and efficient systems.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with Risk Team :
  • Work closely with the business risk team to develop data systems that support risk management.
  • Data Mart Design & Maintenance :
  • Design and maintain the risk data mart, ensuring that the thematic data is reusable across different risk domains.
  • Data Asset Governance :
  • Oversee data assets, such as tables, metrics, labels, and dashboards. Implement and design governance standards and operational processes to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Develop Data Products :
  • Work on driving the productization of risk data management, its construction, and its application.
Requirements
  • Educational Background :
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical Experience :
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience with big data technologies, including:
  • Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Hive
  • Spark task optimization
  • Backend Development experience with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture , and server-side technologies .
  • Experience in SQL and NoSQL database management and design.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Skills :
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally with teams.
  • Language Requirements :
  • Fluency in English (required for coordination with global teams and stakeholders).
  • Additional languages would be an advantage, especially for regional communication.
  • Domain Knowledge :
  • Familiarity with risk-related business domains .
