Job LocationAs a Data Engineer within the Risk team, you will work with cutting-edge technologies to manage and process large-scale data, focusing on the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of robust data pipelines, data governance, scalable data architectures, and efficient systems.
Responsibilities- Collaboration with Risk Team :
- Work closely with the business risk team to develop data systems that support risk management.
- Data Mart Design & Maintenance :
- Design and maintain the risk data mart, ensuring that the thematic data is reusable across different risk domains.
- Data Asset Governance :
- Oversee data assets, such as tables, metrics, labels, and dashboards. Implement and design governance standards and operational processes to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Develop Data Products :
- Work on driving the productization of risk data management, its construction, and its application.
- Educational Background :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Technical Experience :
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with big data technologies, including:
- Hadoop, Spark, Presto, and Hive
- Spark task optimization
- Backend Development experience with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture , and server-side technologies .
- Experience in SQL and NoSQL database management and design.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skills :
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally with teams.
- Language Requirements :
- Fluency in English (required for coordination with global teams and stakeholders).
- Additional languages would be an advantage, especially for regional communication.
- Domain Knowledge :
- Familiarity with risk-related business domains .
