Overview

Aviation Engineer/Planner role focused on airport master planning feasibility studies and designing airport-related buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. The candidate should have an engineering background, experience with tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, CAST and AviPLAN, and the ability to create precise technical drawings for airside infrastructure and building engineering works in airports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand client requirements in airport development projects covering stages from advisory services and design consultancy to operations and execution.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies in master planning, aviation commercial and economic development studies, demand forecasting for passengers and cargo, airport and airspace capacity studies, and technical planning studies for airside and terminal operations.
  • Understand international aviation regulations and relevant national regulations as required by the project.
  • Support the development and updating of drawings using Revit or AutoCAD.
  • Support the design of airfield geometry and markings using AviPLAN.
  • Support analysis and data visualization using CAST, Power BI, and Excel, drawing insights from large data sets.
  • Collaborate with planners, engineers, architects and other professionals to ensure designs meet project requirements and comply with aviation regulations.
  • Prepare professional client-facing materials, such as presentation decks and reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in aviation sector (e.g., airline, airport, or ground handler).
  • Strong understanding of airport planning and design aspects.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, CAST, GIS, and AviPLAN is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on tasks within the project team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Preference for Singapore citizens if qualifications are equal due to involvement in military projects.
