The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our new Singapore office. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will be the driving force behind our local growth, taking full ownership of the entire recruitment lifecycle. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by building our team from the ground up and shaping the future of our company in the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process for all technical roles in Singapore, including Quantitative Researchers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and other specialized positions.
  • Sourcing & Talent Pipelining: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier passive and active candidates. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand their strategic objectives and define role requirements.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional and seamless experience for all candidates, from initial contact through to onboarding.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Track and analyze recruitment metrics to provide data-informed insights, optimize hiring processes, and report on progress to leadership.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert on the Singapore talent market, especially in tech/quant industry, providing guidance on compensation, trends, and talent availability.
  • Offer & Onboarding Management: Drive the offer process, including preparing and extending offers, developing effective closing strategies, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle technical recruiting role.
  • Proven experience hiring for technical roles such as Software Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.

Preferred:

  • Experience recruiting for quantitative finance, hedge funds, or high-frequency trading firms.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Singapore talent market. Full professional proficiency in English; working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is advantageous for engaging with the diverse talent pool in the region.
  • Familiarity with quantitative skill sets (e.g., statistical modeling, Python/C++, machine learning).
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or new office expansion environment.
