GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end operations for conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, and special events (domestic and international).
  • Oversee venue sourcing, contract negotiations, vendor management, production/AV, staffing, and onsite logistics.
  • Develop and manage event operational budgets, including forecasting and cost controls
  • Help build and optimize operational processes, workflows, and best practices to scale the event program.
  • Partner with internal teams (marketing, communications, sales, executive leadership) to ensure alignment with event goals and brand standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement innovative practices in areas such as sustainability, and attendee engagement.
  • Engage in ad-hoc responsibilities and/or projects as needed to assist in the continuous growth of the organization
  • Project administration and management of workflow
  • Onsite execution and delivery of events
  • Any other ad hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications & Experience
  • More than 5 years of progressive experience in event management or event operations
  • Proven track record managing large-scale conferences or multi-day events with complex logistics.
  • Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and vendor contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for onsite event execution.
