We are representing our client who is an NGO, in the Agriculture sector in Singapore.

You should have 3 years of experience in project management.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned projects and provides management oversite of domestic and international contractors and subcontractors engaged to fulfill various components of those projects. Project managers ensure programs and related invoices comply with funding source regulations and remain within established budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Tracks and prepares project financial and activity reports and budgets.
  • Reviews and manages contractor activities for project implementation, invoicing compliance, and satisfaction of contract deliverables.
  • Supports day-to-day management of assigned projects by developing Request for Proposals (RFPs), preparing and submitting contract requests and continuously reviewing project status.
  • Participates in all project planning meetings.
  • Acts as a liaison between team members, Event and Travel Team, and contractors.
  • Prepares budgets utilizing historical and current data to fund new projects.
  • Assists with marketing activities to implement the Focus Area Action Plans.
  • Reviews invoices and expense vouchers to ensure compliance. The review includes, but is not limited to, submission timeliness, proper approvals, sufficient documentation, permitted expense, contract match, budget availability, and correct coding of funding source, project number, and expense code.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Thorough understanding of and the ability to quickly learn about a project and outline a plan to proceed efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills reflecting the ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully with domestic and international teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Marketing, International Relations or related discipline.
  • 3 years of related experience in project management.
