We are looking to provide a learning opportunity for an intern in Wider Asia Medical and Scientific Affairs team. Focus will be on Medical Innovation which will support the innovation programs for Haleon R&D.

Preferred School/Course of Intern : Undergraduate students from Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health/ Biological Sciences and related disciplines.
The Medical Innovation Intern will work under the supervision of the Medical Innovation Lead and collaborate with other functions of commercial, innovation, manufacturing, consumer & product understanding, regulatory, insights and new product development scientists in the company to provide appropriate and timely input into our innovation program.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be required to:
Support on-going Innovation projects and workstreams, details to be determined during onboarding prior to start of the internship based on current business needs and strengths of Intern. End to end development journey of claims. Be trained on the platforms/Systems: - ProMotion etc for preparation, approval/ review of content. Assist in the medical communication and external advocacy efforts e.g., with HCPs, Scientific Exchange in team meetings or by different channels (F2F, virtual, calls, Mail). Cross-functional team involvement in project. Be trained on the different processes to generate the scientific documents like Claim Support substantiations, Publications, Response documents to Health Authorities, Medical information. Understand the process of the benefit risk of a product and evaluate the product’s safety and efficacy. Learning Outcomes:

Educational background – studying Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health/ Biological Sciences related degree (Undergraduates should have completed at least Year 1 when starting role. We are also open to explore candidates at the postgraduate level). Proficient in use of IT and software/systems, database systems and presentation skills.Behavioural Skills and Competencies
Excellent oral and written communication/teamwork skills. Agility and high motivation to learn. Able to act in a confidential manner. Good interpersonal abilities. Organized and methodical. Proactive attitude to process improvement.
