Key Account Manager

Within the targets set by the Head of Key Account Management Region, the Manager Key Accounts (Manager Level) performs the following duties:
Creates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportation Enters into transportation agreements with customers Creates growing additional business focusing on all aspects of the Lufthansa Cargo’s Product Portfolio and initiating long term business Provides sales support for LCAG subsidiaries (e.g. time:matters) Is responsible for presenting the LCAG product and service portfolio as well as providing sales support and consultancy to customers Negotiates Global Incentive Agreements, monitors and communicates progress and works in cooperation with partner(s) to reach its targets Assists with and resolves global, regional and local discrepancies and is recipient of escalated matters* Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
The ideal Key Account Manager must fulfill the following requirements:
High school diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree in commerce preferably with focus on economics and/or marketing or Degree in logistics management; or several years of experience in a comparable position in sales organization 5 years of experience in the airline industry (cargo/forwarder/logistics industry knowledge preferred) English and local/other language required German language desirable Knowledge and practical experience in operational airfreight management Professional sales and negotiation skills Advanced level of communication Business Administration and Performance Management knowledge Competition Compliance knowledge Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Ofiice* CV/Resume and Cover Letter are required
* Must possess a work permit in Singapore
