A CSE Engineer, Project is involved inthe most demanding projects.He/she takes over from the CSE Engineer, Solution in the initial start-up meeting, and is accountableforcoordination of all engineering work until the project is handed over to maintenance.

What will you be doing?

Solution planning – costing

·Responsible for supplying correct costings in change orders (variations and addworks), both for corporate and local materials

·Involves the Supply Line, installation, maintenance and project management to understand both the materials and service cost of the change orders (variations and addworks)

Solution planning– Specs:

·Coordinates specification creation for changes

·Accountable forthe technical content of the order between MS 0b and MS 2z

·Accountable for final technical site surveys

Solution planning– Availability and lead times

·Coordinates lead times from Supply Line and local sourcing on the changes

Solution planning–Installability

·Ensures that the proposed solution can be installed after the changes are applied

·Ensures that the cost and work effort impact of the installation is part of change costing

Solution planning– Maintainability

·Ensures that the proposed changes fulfilsthe customer’s product lifecycle needs

·Identifiespossible deviations of changes to standard maintenance methods and ensures that a resolution is found

Solution planning– Compliance

·Ensures that the proposed solution fulfils local codes, regulations and safety requirements

·Ensure alignment withenvironmental regulations

·Ensures that the planned solution complies with KONE’s Engineering Policy

Key tasks in the KONE Sales process

·Takes over from the CSE Engineer, Solution in the most complex project cases during the initial start-up meeting

Key tasks in the KONE Delivery process

·Accountable for the creation of layouts

·Coordinates and analyses change requirements (variation orders and addworks); ensures that holistic proposals for the new solution design are provided

·Coordinates the work of all involved CSE Engineers and Specialists

·Proposes change order (variations and addworks) sales opportunities to Project Managers

·Accountable to understand variance between the design of the site versus reality of the site

·Provides solution-related information to Project Managers, Installation Supervisors and Maintenance Supervisors

CSE Engineer, Project role in the KONE SEB process

·Shares knowledge with maintenance per as needed

Generalresponsibilities

·Participatesin product and new service release information-sharing sessions

·Offers input to the product offering management about customisation, standardisation and interface requirements for the portfolio

·Contributes to the Customer Solutions Engineering virtual and local network

·Contributes to and utilises theCustomer SolutionsEngineering case library

·Handles the most demanding modernisation projects

Are you the one?

·Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field, or several years’ experience in elevator business field operations

·Project management skills

·Understanding of new construction and building modernization processes in the industry

·Good skills in understanding and translating customer needs (requirements) into technical specifications

·Good knowledge of solution-related norms and standards

·Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms

·Good engineering tool skills e.g. CAD and BIM skills

·Good knowledge of solutions

·Basic knowledge of competitors’ technical solutions

·Good virtual collaboration skills

·Good understanding on supply operations
