Claims Specialist

- Service clients and maintain communication with underwriters and management.
- Manage and resolve reinsurance and insurance claims within specified limits of authority.
- Collaborate and negotiate with insureds, brokers, cedants, loss adjusters, and other service providers to ensure timely and equitable claims resolution.
- Manage claims administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims, coordinating payments with the accounts department, and timely submission of accurate reports to management.
- Organize tasks to maintain efficient claims management aligned with corporate goals.
- Ensure accurate reports and data are supplied to Underwriters for marketing and renewal purposes.
- Assist Underwriters in marketing efforts, risk assessment, and occasional market presentations to increase visibility of the company's claims team.
Requirements:
- Equipped with over 3 years of related claims experience such as in marine/ marine cargo will be desirable.
