Department

Moody’s Central Marketing team enables a more holistic approach on how we interact with our customers; ensuring we understand their business and workflow challenges and how our solutions fit across each use case. The Marketing team focuses on driving awareness and demand for Moody’s current and future solutions in support of company revenue goals and strategic priorities.

Through thought leadership, awareness and lead generation campaigns, and a consistent focus on the customer experience, we establish Moody’s as a trusted partner for integrated risk assessment capabilities. All along the customers’ buying journey, from awareness through retention, we partner with our subject matter experts, business units, sales teams, and technology stakeholders to execute go-to-market strategies, deliver robust regional or global omnichannel marketing programs, and produce compelling content that attracts, engages, and converts qualified prospects and retains customers

Role/Responsibilities

TheDirector,Field Marketing APAC is responsible for collaborating with Marketing Squad leads on the resourcing, activation, and tracking of marketing programs, including awareness building, demand generation, and events to promote Moody’s solutions within the APAC + ME region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the region’s nuances and cultural sensitivities, coupled with a strategic mindset and a track record of driving impactful marketing campaigns. The Director is responsible for the overall execution of campaign programs in region and is responsible for various parts of each program, which may include campaign content development, ensuring activation across channels, event management and promotions, and program reporting. This role will act as the Marketing leader in the region, bringing transparency and alignment to all marketing-related activities with a focus on revenue growth across the Asia region.

The successful candidate is a natural relationship builder who is willing to play an active role in establishing Moody’s customer-centric marketing strategy and working both a strategic and tactical role as we transform the marketing function.

Key responsibilities include:

Collaborate across all Marketing functions and oversee the local activation of approved activities, ensuring campaigns and projects and properly staffed with local resources, executed with excellence, stay on time and budget, and produce ROI. Collaborate with Marketing Segment squads and regional sales teams to prioritize marketing efforts for the region, ensure marketing activities are not competing with each other, and we have coordinated outreach across each program. Drive localization efforts for marketing collateral, messaging and campaigns to resonate with target audiences across Asia. Collate, track, and report on all marketing activity related to the region and communicate results across Marketing and use data to fuel future decisions. Manage and develop a local team of highly motivated, creative, and ROI-driven marketing professionals. Provide guidance, development, and career opportunities by setting challenging goals, rallying around a unified vision, delegating, coaching, and leading by example.  Support a matrixed organization by providing on the ground management for team while partnering with leaders across marketing on team goals and objectives. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and customer insights to identify new marketing opportunities while also providing general marketing support on projects as needed.

10+ years of B2B field marketing experience in local APAC markets within a corporate environment, with a proven track record of supporting data-driven marketing campaign strategies. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Deep experience with marketing technology including automation platforms, project management software, webinar platforms, and Salesforce. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated professionalism Entrepreneurial mindset: seizes opportunities, adapts from setbacks to continuously improve and innovate, highly organized and detail-oriented.  Growth Mindset: willingness to adapt to shifting market trends and business needs; problem-solving through an open minded and all-inclusive approach.
