Assistant Manager, Mail Information System

Job Description
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Mail IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves managing and maintaining to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the IT system that are integrated in the OT environments.Operational Management
Oversee and manage daily operations of IT integrated with OT systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance system reliability and efficiency Monitor and analyze system performance metrics and address operational issues proactively.System Administration:
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking components. Perform regular system health checks, backups, and preventive maintenance.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Maintain mail piece data integrity, extract, transform and perform data visualization using data visualization tools Maintain, manage, and optimize sorting plan for OT machines Performance trouble shooting for sorting machines by analyzing sorting data / images Execute label learning for sortation systems Check and transfer critical mail data to working departments and act as point of contact for data integrityIncident and Problem Management:
Lead the response to IT incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption to operations Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions Maintain an incident log and prepare reports for management review.Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policiesSystem Integration:
Support the integration of IT and OT systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange. Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement new systems and technologies Manage the lifecycle of IT systems, from planning and deployment to decommissioningProject Management:
Assist on operational projects related to IT/OT systems, ensuring timely delivery and within budget. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders. Oversee the work of external vendors and service providersDocumentation and Reporting:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT/OT systems, processes, and procedures. Prepare and present operational reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvementRequirement
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5 years of experience Experience in Windows Server OS, Unix/Linux OS & virtualization environment (VMware, HyperV etc.) Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking Able to work independently as well as in a team and good interpersonal skills Good working knowledge with firewall, routers and switches Good working knowledge in hardware like servers, storage area networks (SAN), network attached storage (NAS) devices Experience in Patch Management Experience in IT infrastructure integrated with sortation machine will be a plus Proven track record in managing IT/OT security and compliance-
