Your Role

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS?Your primary objective is to lead accounting activities across the country or cluster, ensuring completeness, accuracy + timeliness of the financials in relation to internal reporting requirements

Your Responsibilities

You will do this by working with a variety of internal stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.

To lead month-end closing activities, ensuring timely + accurate profit + loss electronically data interface + webform reporting to regional. To review quarterly reporting and tax packages, assisting to eliminate and/or validate errors. To manage general ledgers for all entities, including performing monthly analytical reviews + balance sheet reconciliation on key accounts. To coordinate statutory audits + tax filing, including preparing clean audited statements for timely submission. To review + coordinate our internal control systems (ICS) to eliminate findings + ensure compliance. To review + implement accounting policy in line with local legislations. To drive all ad-hoc projects + implementations within reporting + tax as well as system updates. To optimize reporting tools, templates + dashboards to enhance transparency + efficiency through digital solutions.

Your Skills and Experiences

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA preferred. At least more than 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles within the logistics industry. Proficiency in financial software and systems used in logistics operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proven leadership and management abilities, with experience leading a team. Knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the logistics industry.
