We are currently looking for a Media Director who is an experienced account servicing person with demonstrated success in managing client relationships, a growing team and developing paid media strategy. You will manage and grow critical client accounts by devising & presenting media solutions and overseeing to flawless execution. You will have a dedicated account servicing team as well as access to shared tech & creative resources.

Understood core proposition  Taken on client relationships and team management Demonstrate understanding of client business challenges and marketing challenges Developed media strategy recommendations in line with client challenges, presenting these with confidence  Built good relationships internally across functional teams Understood the scope and abilities of the current team In six months, you would have: Developed great relationships internally through constructive collaboration and mutual respect  Developed a strategy for increasing organic growth for team accounts Aided in the growth  In 12 months, you would: Be able to anticipate what is needed to stay on track to secure, grow and solidifying client relations, and to take action appropriately Be a critical team member and support to the General Manager of and regional CEO Successfully managed the renewal of client retainers Responsibilities of the role: Entrenching senior client relationships that position the GroupM agency/s as a principal business partner of the client Be unafraid to push back, be audacious, provocative and stand your ground in terms of ideas Build client satisfaction by soliciting feedback and operating like a consultant  Acts as a client visionary, by bringing a highly valued perspective to the client based on a deep understanding of their business, issues and opportunities Overall strategic approach on the account, designed and delivered to meet client’s business objectives and strategies Oversees the implementation of the annual planning in conjunction with the client team Generates and communicates a shared goal and unifies a team in the pursuit of a common objective Drive additional services in areas like SEO, Content, Social and Programmatic Be able to manage revenue pipelines and trading agendas including master contract negotiations Always operate with a talent mindset What you will need: 5 to 7 years’ work experience in a media agency, of which at least 2 years spent as a manager or above Experienced in integrated planning, with a strong understanding of digital channels Good knowledge of Singapore and APAC/Asia’s media landscape Be well versed in digital planning, strategy and trouble shooting Experience in managing and succeeding with large projects, such as annual plans Comfortable on high profile accounts that require resilience and high EQ Significant proven experience of working with multiple stakeholders, e.g. suppliers, advertising/marketing agencies, media owners Shows a depth of understanding of the industry, business, brands and consumers in client conversations Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Can manage numerous projects concurrently and consistently to deliver high quality work to deadlines Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and clients A clear and concise style of writing with confident, persuasive presentation skills More about GroupM GroupM - GroupM leads and shapes media markets by delivering performance enhancing media products and services, powered by data and technology.
