Internship - System Engineer for Industrial Automation Application

In your new role you will:

  • Develop the software driver (C programming) for micro controller to control automation motor such as servo/stepper motor
  • Create application notes on successful use case application
  • Have the opportunity to learn in depth about the Infineon micro controller peripherals and tool chain
  • Study into the future/current trend of Industrial Automation such as the field bus protocol and adopting standards

Internship learning outcomes:
  • Gain hands on experience with Infineon 32bit Industrial micro controller and tool chains
  • Explore Infineon evaluation kit such as hardware interfacing of Infineon micro controller with external devices
  • Software development and debugging with Modus Toolbox
  • Access to testing equipment such as CAN/Protocol analyser, scope etc.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • On track to attain Bachelor in Electrical & Electronic / Computer Engineering with a research-oriented mindset
  • Have the experiences/knowledges on
    • 32bit embedded Micro controller
    • PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for motor control
    • Software C programming and debugging
    • Industrial automation
