We're seeking a talented individual to join our vibrant international team at Siemens Pte Ltd. As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to empower our customers' initiatives and business drivers through cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement edge computing solutions to process data closer to the source, enabling real-time decision-making and efficient automation.
  • Connect a variety of IoT devices and sensors to industrial networks, ensuring smooth data acquisition and communication.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and anomalies within the data.
  • Acquire and preprocess data from diverse industrial sources, including sensors, PLCs, and SCADA systems, to ensure accuracy and completeness for analysis.
  • Contribute to educating engineers, technicians, and stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices for industrial systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing robust security policies and procedures for industrial automation environments, ensuring comprehensive protection.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear and concise reports and presentations, making findings accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure that data-driven insights lead to practical improvements on the factory floor.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of computer programming languages, preferably Python or C++, C#, Java.
  • Familiar with IoT concepts and technologies, including sensors, actuators, gateways, and communication protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of IoT technologies and protocols such as MQTT and LoRaWAN.
  • Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken) with effective communication skills.
