As a Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to other Bridgestone business units and will assist in decision making.

 

Located at our Head Office in Adelaide, this position offers you the opportunity to manage and advance your career

Responsibilities

 

The responsibilities of the FBP include but are not limit to:

 

Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting:

 

  • Provide advice on the development and implementation of appropriate financial reporting and budgetary management across the group
  • Develop an effective budget strategy that involves maintaining a budget management framework
  • Budget submission to BSCAP

 

Business Analysis:

 

  • Develop funding models and cost efficiencies and scenario-based financial options that support new initiatives
  • Provide financial advice for business cases, business plans and processes that seek to deliver improved services and better value for money

 

Management Reporting:

 

  • Analyse and interpret performance against budget and key business performance indicator benchmarks for management reporting, including reporting outcomes to business unit leaders
  • Financial Governance:
  • Provide financial guidance and advice across operational, product and financial management information to enhance stakeholder engagement
  • Reinforce a culture of financial performance accountability through implementation and monitoring of savings initiatives and performance KPIs

About you

 

To succeed in this role, you should have:

 

  • Accounting or Finance Qualification such as CA, CPA or CIMA
  • Previous experience in Business Analysis and Budgeting and Forecasting essential
  • The ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of commercial business drivers, data analytics and influencing business strategic direction
  • Understanding and experience with profitability models, business drivers and an overall curious mindset to understand and challenge strategic directions
  • Good communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with people internal and external to the organisation
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and other Financial Analysis and Modelling tools is highly desirable
