**Sales**
Our Sales team is the largest revenue-generation department at United. They work closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, and corporate clients.
**Job overview and responsibilities**
Employs selling techniques and negotiating strategies to achieve sales goals from assigned accounts. Responsible for effective management of sales resources i.e. Salesforce to maximize revenues and control cost of sales. Develops a sales plan for each assigned account, in concert with the team to achieve corporate sales and distribution objectives. Maintains productive, on-going relationships with assigned accounts and functions in a consultative capacity with key accounts to ensure maximum revenue and market share. Monitors, analyzes and interprets account revenue and share reports to determine problems and opportunities for improvements. Provides functional direction to Account Services Representatives in the support activities given to assigned accounts. Maintains currency in industry activities, company strategies and technological/product developments.
Sales Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies with the sales team and customize account plans to individual corporate and TMC accounts
- Develop and execute call plans to achieve advances
- Develop and execute marketing activities and programs to increase share of business
Sales Acquisition
- In line with the country objectives, acquire new corporate and TMC accounts to achieve share and revenue targets
Customer Servicing
- Exceed customer expectations to maximize loyalty and satisfaction and maintain business retention through targeted sales calls and account reviews
**This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.**
**Qualifications**:
**Required**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years sales experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
**Preferred**
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Airline experience
