We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a **Head of Transformation - HSBC Life Singapore.**

**Role Purpose**

HSBC Insurance is a key contributor to WPB and HSBC profitability, returns and expected growth. It has manufacturing operations in 8 markets including Hong Kong, China, France, Mexico, Singapore, UK, Malta and Argentina. It mostly distributes through

An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Transformation within HSBC Life in Singapore to deliver the transformation agenda with a clear focus on creating sustainable business and customer outcomes. The role will be responsible for delivering the strategic transformation outcomes for the combined business. This is also a priority for WPB, and an essential component of the WPB and HSBC global Insurance strategy.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
Value Creation
- Leads and manages the execution of all integration workstream including data migration, cut over planning, end-to-end testing, business change readiness.
- Ensures that all design and delivery is within the risk appetite for insurance and the wider regulatory environment across the Singapore insurance market. Will work closely with the global and local controls team to ensure a robust and effective controls environment.
- Maximises capability development and re-use and removes costs and complexity from within the organization.
- Ensures that the SVS delivery generates incremental income and drives customer engagement & satisfaction.
- Supports ongoing delivery of a sustainable HSBC Life Singapore proposition that directly impacting sales and revenue performance for related products and services.
- Uses local market, customer and competitor insights to define and shape commercialisation, messaging and optimisation approaches for execution. Leverages multi-disciplined regional and global groups such as Data and Analytics to ensure that the best commercialisation opportunities are identified and implemented.
- Utilises select innovations and partnerships to deliver commercial value from new technologies, supporting the future relevance of the brand including the adoption of innovative 3rd party technologies.
- Influences and collaborates with stakeholders and business partners, building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influence change outcomes. Fosters open and honest communication which anticipates stakeholder expectations.
- Obtains buy-in from and influences executive management and stakeholders for all key programme plans, commitments, changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plans.

Customers / Stakeholders
- As required interface with senior internal stakeholders in Insurance, wider WPB notably Group in order to achieve buy in and implementation of change solutions.

Operational Performance
- Monitor and report on the Singapore Sub Value Streams and intervene when programmes go off track.
- Ensure all agreed costs, quality and delivery commitments to stakeholders by priority market teams are met
- Promote adherence to project/programme governance model and use agreed digital tooling and Ways of Working.
- Adherence to design; technology and business architecture standards and process design standards and artefacts and ensure that all key design dimensions are addressed
- Demonstrates financial acumen to develop a global business case, including investments, detailed benefits and link to overall finances of the business.
- Ensures teams follow frameworks and methodologies thus driving a common high performance approach
- Ensures governance processes and decisions are applied consistently

- Leads and develops a high performing team of cross discipline SMEs
- Builds collaboration between teams, sharing good change ideas and ensuring work is recognised within markets and
