The Sr. Program Manager East Asia and India (EA&I) will have leadership responsibility for commercial projects in support of our automotive and industrial customers. As the regional focal point for the EA&I leadership team and Gates Global Program Management Office (PMO) this role has leadership accountability for regional project managers and cross-functional project teams accountable for the delivery of project key performance indicators (KPIs). The Sr. Program Manager EA&I will drive the efficient and effective adoption of the Gates Project Management System (GPMS) across the region.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:_List the essential functions that are core to this position and represent at least 5% of the incumbent’s time. Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below. _

**1. **20% - Implementation of GPMS across the region

**2. **60% - Provides leadership for the development and execution of cross-functional projects in support of the regional project portfolio

**3. **20% - Provides PM support and guidance to managers and functional organizations across the region

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Leads project and sub-project managers

**QUALIFICATIONS**:_To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. _
- 8 years of progressive industry experience as a PM
- Bachelor’s Degree (PMP is desirable)
- APQP/TS16949 experience
- Knowledge of automotive products and manufacturing processes

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Experience in partnering with business leaders on developing and driving global initiatives
- High Level interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence and coach across multiple levels within the company and locations; including establishing global partnerships
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Good decision making skills that involves researching, analyzing and evaluating data and the ability to make decisions in a timely manner
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite with emphasis in Excel and Project
- Note: This position requires frequent regional travel.
