Leading the Metals & Mining Industry Practice in the AP region, focused on business development, go to market strategy in support of regional business growth as well as take the lead across specific client accounts. You are expected to grow, lead and guide the growth of the Metals & Mining industry in the region, deliver revenue and profit as well as sustained growth in the region. You will collaborate with thought leaders to innovate our approach to continue to deliver value for our clients. You will develop and engage a team with a strong focus on client deliver within a high-performance work culture.
You will have a strategic and client facing delivery role across the consulting value chain, from leading and or supporting business development efforts, some project delivery and account development. You will also be the regional thought leader responsible to help shape and drive our Metals & Mining Industry strategy in collaboration with our Practice Delivery Teams. In addition, you will collaborate with the existing Global Metals & Mining industry team.
**More specifically, you would be contributing to the following areas**:

- Promote industry growth at regional level by: 1) establishing/strengthening the Key Account Management process for Key Accounts with global relevance in the industry, 2) identifying and establishing new Key Accounts with global relevance.
- Take direct accountability on business development targets with select accounts within the industry. Provide industry expertise and advise on short term opportunities (e.g. key meetings presentations, proposal development) to ensure industry IP and best practices are leveraged.
- Identify industry specific marketing requirements and support marketing plan implementation at market level (in alignment with global marketing plan).
- Collaborate with Practice Leads / Market Leads to promote penetration in the industry in priority key accounts.
**3. **Client, Delivery and Stakeholder Management**:
- Building and enhancing strong relationships with existing/ prospective clients, building C-Suite relationships in key accounts and positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Attend and facilitate strategy accounts project reviews and leverage insights and learning as input to industry effort (e.g. IP/ Content development needs, capability needs, etc.)
- Ensuring the execution of multiple co-current complex consulting assignments to meet / exceed client deliverables as per expectations.
**4. **Building the Firm: (Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement)**
- Identify needs and create specific POVs, benchmarks and other intellectual capital to be developed to support business development efforts and industry positioning.
- Establish an internal network of industry experts and practitioners to support industry strategy and plan execution.
- Collaborate with the global Metals & Mining Industry Team contributing to thought leadership, offerings and methodologies bringing global best practices into the AP market and clients.
- Work with Practice Leaders to enhance the knowledge management process and systems and capture / develop industry specific content.
- Lead the AP Metals & Mining industry network to promote sharing of relevant content across practices and markets.
**5. **People Leadership and Team Management**:
- Proactively seeking opportunities and mentor and coach team members and leveraging the strengths of each team member to ensure project collaboration, ensuring successful deliverable of client projects.
**What we are looking for**
**Qualifications / Experience**:
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent in environmental sciences or engineering
- You have minimum 7 years of experience in strategy or management consulting
- Track record in one or several of the following sectors is a plus: Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Agriculture, Food & Beverage, Industrial Manufacturing and Investor & Private Equity
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and team-working attitude to be able to work in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
- High level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluency in both written and spoken English. Other languages such as Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Mandarin or Cantonese will be a plus
