**Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility**

Financial Control & Accounting
- Manage and/or execute accounting transactions including A/P, A/R, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue recognition
- Manage & oversee payments to external parties
- Preparation of yearly financial statements acc IFRS and Local GAAP
- Assurance of timely and accurate monthly reporting acc IFRS
- Coordination of accounting services provided by external parties
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements; support internal & external audits
- Manage and comply with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filing

Controlling & Business Partnering
- Analysis and presentation of monthly results to Management
- Coordination and preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, long-term planning
- Contributing to the definition of the strategy for Romer Labs RBU SG business unit. Serve as the key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy, aligning with global strategy
- Translating strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets.
- Monitoring of progress achieved and providing insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identifies issues and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Drives appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency
- Identifying and communicating commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions
- Ensuring timely and efficient communication with Division Controller, Local Controllers and other relevant stakeholders

Projects
- Support implemention of new SAP S4 HANA system, SAP Concur, etc
- Support integration to DSM organization, systems & processes
- Support implementation of new reporting requirements

**Required Education & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial management, Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Microsoft Axapta is a Plus
